My new friend told me about how much she enjoyed online tutorial paintings. I decided I could learn a thing or two (as I don’t know much about anything) so I tried a few of them. Above is one from Corea Art. I did learn from the tutorials. I learned about new kinds of brush techniques, mixing colors and composition. I also learned that I enjoy painting with expression and experimentation versus following step by step instruction.
There is something that pulls at me to create new images. Sometimes I feel like I am painting something that might show up in a microscope or telescope. I am inspired by organic patterns and colors I have seen in the world – and of course, limited only by what I can afford to create.
