My Bathroom Door

Early this spring I went to the doctor for what I thought was gall bladder problems.  An EKG was performed.   I was told I had recently had an MI.  A myocardial infarction.  A heart attack.

I told my friend, Carol, about it and she looked hard into my face and said “You don’t need to go through that”.  I felt as if a spell had been cast upon me and from that moment I put “good heart juju” into my mind, body and soul vibration.

Tests. Tests. Tests.  And everything came back looking good.

I changed the lyrics a bit to suit the celebration of my healthy heart there on the bathroom door.   It is just a great big healthy heart pumping blood.

The painting includes these words:

This is your heart, it’s alive
It’s pumping blood
It’s your heart, it’s alive
It’s pumping blood
And the whole wide world is whistling
And it’s whistling
Hey heart, on the run again
Drive is strong
Anywhere
Stick and stones won’t take his course
It’s got the ball
And it fits it
It’s the best of world’s feeling, like nothing can go wrong
You’re the saddle of the world, you get to know
‘Cause it’s your heart, it’s alive
It’s pumping blood
It’s your heart, it’s alive
It’s pumping blood
And the
