Changing Gears

Here I present my most recent abstract, a 24-inch by 48-inch Payne’s gray oil on wood. An original creation representing my emotional armor. Unlike Windy Blue, this one dried quickly. The different pigments in the paint cure at different rates. I thought I would have more time to “work” the surface. My message from this recent expression taught me that I don’t need to create more emotional armor. I am enjoying safety and comfort at last.

I will be switching gears now and getting back into my little birds for a while again. These large abstracts are expensive to make and cannot be gifted easily, making them likely to be feeding a fire somewhere in the future.

I appreciate being able to share and hope you are having fun and feeling good.
